Activision reveals that a new Call of Duty will come out in 2020, remasters of older games also planned

    7cQIzhm.jpg

Activision has announced that a new Call of Duty game will come out in 2020. To be more precise, the new Call of Duty game will release at the end of this year and is generating high interest internally.

According to the latest reports, this new Call of Duty is a brand new Black Ops game set in the Cold War era. Furthermore, Treyarch will be developing this new Black Ops game.

Last but not least, Activision revealed that it plans to release more remasters and re-imagined games. The publisher will announce these remasters later this year. Unfortunately, Activision did not unveil any additional details. Still, it’s worth noting that a Remaster for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has already been rated by PEGI.

Ubisoft plans to release five triple-A games between April 2020 and March 2021

Ubisoft has announced that it plans to release five triple-A games between April 2020 and March 2021. Furthermore, three of these games will come out between October and December 2020.

According to the company, these three games are: Watch Dogs Legion, Gods and Monsters and Rainbow Six Quarantine. Moreover, and according to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, the other two games will be a new Far Cry game and a new Assassin’s Creed game.

What’s interesting to note is that there is no word about Skulls and Bones or Beyond Good & Evil 2. As such, you should not expect to be playing these two games anytime soon.

Not only that, but it’s pretty obvious that a new Splinter Cell game will not be coming out anytime soon. In fact, we don’t even know whether the French company has any plans to announce a new Splinter Cell game at this year’s E3 event. So yeah, bad news for all of you Splinter Cell fans out there.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be available for free on Epic Games Store next week

    VFblnaA.jpg

Now here is something that may give Epic Games’ store a big boost. The team has just announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be available for free next week on EGS. Similarly to all EGS free offerings, PC gamers will acquire a free copy of the game that they will keep forever.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a story-driven open-world RPG that immerses you in an epic adventure in the Holy Roman Empire. Players will avenge their parents’ death as they battle invading forces, go on game-changing quests, and make influential choices.

The game features a massive realistic open world and a non-linear story as players can solve quests in multiple ways, and face the consequences of your decisions. Moreover, the game comes with a challenging combat system.

In October 2019, Warhorse also released the official modding tools for the game. As such, I’m pretty sure that the EGS version will also support mods.
It will be interesting to see whether this free week will significantly boost the game’s fanbase.
