So there are plenty of cases of Covid still undetected. Naturally that brings the fatality rate up.
Also the Italians are the most cuddly people in Europe. Human to human contact is more than others and naturally the spread of Covid is much greater than they account for. So don't rely much on the death rates. It is not a standardized thing that can be much relied upon.
