Your second sentence is correct. WHO shouldn't be doing politics.
But at the same time WHO should take the correct action - not siding with one country and dishing out their lies.

I don't see any lies in it because chinese government strictly locked down cities and user maximum power to stop the spread. European/US people and media just ashamed of the current situation of their countries and China managed covid19 well under communism. Europe/US just hoping and like to see more deaths in China because they messed up and they have more deaths. US & Europe are looking for a mass mental relief .

I know for sure that China lied. Otherwise I would not be aware of it in January itself. They grandly messed it up, having not learnt from their past mistakes. Remember what they did with SARS in 2003? This time it massively backfired on them as well as on the entire world.

But I respect your opinion. It's not a matter of communism or capitalism. I don;t care what 'ism' it is.
China's communism is that only one man runs it - Xi Jingping and he should be made responsible too. He is trying to be lifetime president. God save the common Chinese citizen.
Do you recollect what that Dr Li Wenliang said before he passed away?
"A healthy society cannot have only one voice" - With that he summed up the China's worst problem.

Bat Coronaviruses in China

No one is contesting that they didn't have bats that carry Corona viruses. It was well known over two decades.
The only other place I am aware that horseshoe bats carried similar viruses is Africa. That's also limited to a few places in Rwanda, Uganda & Kenya.
But the sequence of those viruses were bit different to those that were in China though it had some relatedness. Moreover, a spillover risk with the African ones were very minimal. Thanks.
