what is the best option to pay this tax ?
    1. pay though company (they will deduct it from salary)
    2. open tax file personalty
    3. do nothing.

what will happen if we don't pay it (option 3) ?

what is process if we don't pay ? ex: if salary get sink to bottom due to loans.

If you salary is more than 2.5 laks then you have to pay either via company or by yourself. I think with the latest changes company will deduct the amount similar to PAYE IINM.

If you met the criteria and still avoid the payment, then they will charge a hefty fine once they find out this. As far as, you can hide from the system you are safe. Which means you can't buy a car, house under your name.

    සති 2න් 2කට මේවා මාරු කරන නිසා update නැහැ මචන්

AFAIK company has to deduct from the salary and do the payment just like PAYE. Just check with the HR machan. They might deduct 3 month tax amount by this month salary :)

As per 20th guideline jan to march 2020 you need not to pay WHT. APIT is to be paid from April?

Beware.. I think now it's not been deducted from your salary. You'll have to pay it yourself. If you fail to pay you'll get charged a fine. Only good thing about this change is the tax is lesser than before.

You'll have to worry about this only if your total monthly income is more than 2.5laks. Remember it's total, not only your salary. If you have any side hustles you'll have to count them in. Always keep receipts and payment records with you. They'll be valuable in future
