Sri Lankans banned from Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya when Ukrainians visit

2. How much they expend in SL?
3. They can easily spread the new form of virus in SL.

Maybe it's a pilot program, testing the waters - to see if they can at least partially resurrect tourism without exposing locals to the virus

Real issue here is ......
1. Why Ukrainians?
2. How much they expend in SL?
3. They can easily spread the new form of virus in SL.

You cannot go out if there is a threat to you and other locals and it is understandable. But simply banning Sri Lankans from visiting these sites because there are some outsiders visiting them cannot be tolerated. What is the next step if some more tourists starts visiting Sri Lanka? Ban Sri Lankans from Sri Lanka? Gov can ask locals not to visit these sites but they cannot ban them. This action has other motives IMO.
