Covid has had a major impact on global economy, so we cannot just put it aside!
It played a big part in downfall of the Sri Lankan economy which was already in a bad state.

I agree with everything you have said regarding poor management of economy and everything else by all governments so far.
But the current government has taken many good steps to counter this (honestly don't know if it's enough)
Several months after Covid is gone only will we able to size up the actual situation of the economy.

You keep saying erozan is a political slave and don't want him in this conversation, but you keep mentioning him, why?

Sri lanka havent bean in a such worst condition under those people . Every time when sri lanka taken by UNP they put country on hard position . Moet rapid Development happened under MR time and it will continue . GR will push forward country in any cost, if he cant he even can sell it or put under colonial. you cant blame it because you guys gave the 2/3 majority to do so.

Even now Sri Lankans are cleaning toilets all over the world. Canada, UK, Middle east, Australia. You name it? There is a Sri Lankan cleaning toilet.

Since 1505 Sri Lanka was ruled by foreign nations. Had 70 years of independence and what did we achieve? absolutely nothing! Even got our self into 30 years of civil war. We are just a primitive race. Not very smart, Not very talented. I think now its high time Sri Lanka ruled again by a superior nation. At least they will bring economic and social development. Hopefully government's policy of encouraging exports, discouraging imports, less loans / more investments will help...
We also have to remember there is a global pandemic going on, so it exacerbates an already terrible economic crisis
