    අවුරුදු පහක් දෙන්න ඔනී කියල කවුද කියල තියෙන්නෙ...
    නැත්තම් අවුරුදු පහක් දෙන්න ඔනී dose ගනන් කරන්නෙ මොකටද
Things might change in the future. But it's a bit too early to foretell. The DNA vaccines are already on the way. These are variant independent and can be designed to target ALL in the coronaviridae family. The only issue is the approval for human use. Will take more than two years or more.
All these present Generation-1 vaccines will become useless. That's why the Gen-2 vaccines are developed.
Also there is the strong possibility of an anti-viral drug for Covid. Then there's no worry as the disease is controllable.

My question is what is the basis cor that five year commitment.
If a vaccine is not going to give an immunity or complicate protection even after 2 yrs, why we need it for 5 yrs 🙄

We know that if you get infected with Covid, the natural immunity can last upto 8 months. Vaccine immunity is generally stronger and can last for a longer term. The explanation was given by Prof Shiv Pillai (Harvard) and I had done a previous post on it. But as variants surface we might need boosters along the way unless the universal covid vaccine comes into use.

The Chinese crap vaccine is the most expensive in the world...($60.00 for two doses) and imagine the commission over five years. :P
To be fair, also anyone investing on a venture like this will have a minimum period of commitment. Who else will buy the Chinese vaccine anyway? Any ideas?

PS: I forgot to mention that the MRI has the capability to make inactivated vaccines.
