Bank of Ceylon එකේ NRFC account එක තිබ්බේ වෙනම Visa කාඩ් එකක් තිබ්බා ඒ account එකටත් ඔන්ලයින් එහෙමත් ගෙවන්න පුලුවන් කිසිම අවුලක් නෑ.

When I was abroad a few weeks ago banks had capped the max spending to 100usd per week (depends on the bank) but some expenses ver exempt from this. Eg: medical, hotel bookings etc

But then I called HSBC and told them I need to spend and then they told I am allowed to spend whatever is my card limit as long as I keep it positive. i.e no limit.

So guess it is how you negotiate with the bank.

I put this here just so that people who are planing to go abroad for short stays would know how to get about the spending limit.

Aaah ban I first changed my job and then didn't have time to come to EK. I was in SG for a few weeks. then realized that I don't miss this place much cos this too can eat up your time. So after that I decided just to browse without commenting .

Fk sampath, i called card center now they say usd 500 is for Credit cards only.
