( not just diesel ). i wonder why pakistan was missing in your list ? i want to emphasize here pakistan is having cheaper petrol than sri lanka. ( yes pakistan is a south asian country )

let be clear on the fact pakistan has cheaper petrol than sri lanka. people might get misled when you say sri lanka has the lowest fuel price in south asia just because diesel price is low in sri lanka. most people use petrol than diesel

Thats not how fuel price works. countries dont decide fuel price depending on your gdp per capita. if that is the case there are countries that has a high gdp per capita paying low prices for fuel.

Please share your findings and explain to us why the govt should keep releasing fuel (at the pump) at a loss when there is a huge foreign currency crisis.

i gave you that gdp per capita example because you asked me to compare pakistans gdp per capita with sri lanka. so i gave you an example of nepal 1st ( country with low gdp per capita ) then i tried to make it clear some higher gdp per capita country pay low fuel price regardless of their gdp per capita. i did this to point you our fuel prices are not decided on based your gdp per capita.
