12 Gen or 10th Gen ? *for gaming

Guys do have any opinion regarding following processors for gaming,

Intel Core i3 12100F
or
Intel Core i5 10400F

Need know if there is a huge difference between those two when it comes for gaming support as well as genaral usage ?

*Going for a 10400F, currently okay with the budget. If I’m willing to go for a 12th Gen should have to wait few more months to collect the extra cash

I would choose 6 cores over 4 cores anyway. Suggest u invest more money on graphic card as anyways it’s the bottleneck in most games
