Chrome පුරුදු වෙච්ච එවුන් Brave try කරන්න. (it uses Chromium Engine i think, so it should be familiar to you. and ofc unlike google chrome, Brave is a privacy focused browser. should be 100 times better than data collecting google chrome)

Not if you're trying to retrofit the same browser into the a different core. With the tennis ball analogy again, you'll obviously need to retool the whole production. Of course it's possible, and Microsoft maybe even inclined to do it, but we all know how non chromium based internet explorer faired. Every great thing about Edge comes from chromium core. If they decide to go against it, they may have a lot of catching up to do coming up with their own core. It'll frankly be much easier to just switch to Mozilla Quantum.

Lol you forgot a little thing called intellectual property rights bro. Of course you can change the code as you please, and put it back on. However, chromium core usage rights are given under specific circumstances, and when you try to distribute your browser software, you can't do that legally. You either use the Google's version, or go it alone. It's that simple. Your coding prowess means nothing unless you want litigation and feels like going bankrupt after surely losing.

All the Chrome based browsers are based on Open source chromium version which is licensed under BSD license (Google chrome license is bit complex, but in simple terms, the part developed by google is under 3 clause BSD license and 3rd party dependencies are under their respective licenses)
3 clause BSD license allows anyone to do whatever the shit they want to do it with the source code and distribute software as long as it is released under the original copyright notice. that is what Opera and Edge also doing.
