Being woke (if you go with the definition of the slang) itself is not something bad. In fact, it's a good thing.
Being woke means that you are more sensitive to the issues around you in the world.

The problem is how it is practiced by the left. They wrap the wokeness around group identity rather than with individual identity. For example, rather than saying "that woman is suffering, she needs help", their rhetoric is "All women are suffering, we all need help".

They continuously do this with all groups across gender, race, and sexual identity...

Most of the Woke people are sexually oppressive and they have messed up priorities. Have no focus on homeless and crackhead issues which is prominent in every western country now. (In my experience, In Melbourne City, there are more homeless people than in the whole of Colombo and I have never encountered a screaming psycho guy in the streets of Colombo, but In Melbourne I do)

Hunger, Drugs and employment would have been the issue to consider but instead, focusing on sexual problems. Because sex is taboo for most people (Note them, most of them are overweight ugly, broke up with a BF or are Divorced or a popular character seeks attention/approval) and they think that others also have more importance to sex than anything else. Its too all about gay sex and transgender. And they are pushing their agenda on children in schools.
