This is really simple

A person who earning 200,000 has to pay 10,500 per month. As per the amendement its reducing by 7,455
A person who earning 250,000 has to pay 21,000 per month. As per the amendement its reducing by 12,810
A person who earning 300,000 has to pay 35,000 per month. As per the amendement its reducing by 16,450
A person who earning 350,000 has to pay 52,500 per month. As per the amendement its reducing by 13387.50 ( i have a doubt regarding this. unless otherwise gov is planning to increase tax after 300,000 the saving seems to be incorrect)

I don't know why the president didn't clearly describe the tax rates and slabs. He only mentioned non-taxed amounts. Why did he do that? Is he hiding something?

මිලියන් එකක් ගන්න එකෙක්ට 30000 ක වෙනස වැඩක් නෑ උනාට බන් ලක්ෂ 2-2.5ක් ගන්න එකෙක්ට 14000 ක් අඩු වෙන එක මාර සහනයක් බන්.

අනික මම හිතන්නෙ ඔය ලක්ෂ 5 කියන එක 10 කලා කියන්නෙ ක්ලින් 41666.67න් කැපුන ලෙවල් සේරම 83333.33 වෙනකන් යනවස් කියල. පොඩ්ඩක් එහෙම හදල බලපන්කො. මම කලින් හැදුව එක මට තේරෙන විදිහට හැදුවෙ.

මට තේරෙන සරල ගණිතය නම් ලක්ෂ 3ක් පඩි ගන්න එකාගෙන් කැපෙන්නෙ 13000/= නේ

300000 - 150000 ( කලින් 100000) = 150000 (කලින් 200000)

ඕකෙන් 100000(කලින් 50000)/12= 83333.33 ( කලින් 41666.66) කට 6% වදිනව මාසෙකට .
83333.33 ( කලින් 41666.66) * 6% = 5000/= ( කලින් 2500)

150000 ( කලින් 200000)-83333.33 ( කලින් 41666.66)= 66666.66 ( කලින් 158333.33)
66666.66 ( කලින් ඊළඟ 41666.66) * 12% = 8000/= ( කලින් 5000)

එතකොට ඔක්කොම 13000/= නේ ( කලින් 7500/=) එතකොට අතට එනව 287000/=

ඒකෙන් 41666.66 * 18 = 7500/= > එතකොට එතන වෙනකොට 15000/= නේ
කලින් 75000 තව තියෙනව
ඒකෙන් 41666.66 * 24 = 10000/= > එතකොට එතන වෙනකොට 25000/= නේ
කලින් 33333.33තව තියෙනව
ඒ 33333.33 * 36 = 10000/= > එතකොට එතන වෙනකොට 35000/= නේ

මට මග කෑල්ලක් හැලුනද ඩහ්න්නෙ නෑ... මේ ගානෙන් ඉවර උනොත් ඉස්සර 35000/= ක් කැපිල ඉතුරු වෙන්නෙ 265000/= යිය

මේ වගේ තැරි බයි හරක් තමයි සිලින්ඩර් පොනිල්ට කඩේ යන්නෙ. බංකොළොත් පොනිල් රට හදපු හැටි හෑලි, විචාර ලියන්නෙ.

there's nothing called "Correc " until IRD publish new tax table. Until that we can stay the correct PAYE burden will be decreased as mentioned by president
