These examples are too vague and not properly defined the meaning of each element. Listener obviously takes them with their own definitions, and makes their own connections. At the end of the day, you have verified what you already know from your own definitions and connections. Strengthening your own wrong view makes more harm than not listening.

IMHO, dhamma can be explained much cleaner and easier than this. Personally, I dont recommend unless you know what you are listening. Ofc, this is from my experience and im nobody to discourage you from listening to anyone you want.

any damma that arises because of other conditions cant stand(remain by its own power/will) and unstable. this dependence and instability is anicca nature

coz anicca dammas cant maintain themselves, they also cannot be controlled, cant stay (or behave) as any wish. when you cling to something that cant be controlled, results in suffering. So, anicca dammas naturally have dukka nature.

snything that cant arise by itself, cant stay by itself, and cant be controlled to prevent dukka has no inner core. has no self power or self identity. this absence of a controlling essence/self is anatta nature

    easy to understand the contrary:

if something was atta, it would have its own core (its own power), and obey intention, own rising (nicca). clinging to it would produce sukha coz it would be reliable and can be controlled.

NO conditioned(sankatha) damma behaves like this, so all conditioned dammas are anicca, dukka, and anatta

Yes, agreed. Not sure about the speaker's knowledge, but when you think little deeper his points are open-ended that it practically invites people to go off on unrelated tangents. Again, like I said it's probably my interpretation of what he's saying.

    Thank you @ek_rosh 🙏
This makes more sense to me, just have a question regarding the nature of dukkha. You mentioned that anicca dhammas cannot be controlled and refuse to conform to our desires. However, what about the times when things actually do align with our wishes? In those moments, their inherent uncontrollability seems irrelevant. Given this, is a lack of control truly the defining characteristic of dukkha? Also, there is "no one" to control either.

uncontrollability is the dukkha nature (lakkana), not the painful feeling

a pleasant experience doesnt mean the damma is controllable. it only means conditions happened to line up with your preferences for a moment, temporarily

    example:

think of a long street with 50 traffic lights. each light turns red/green due to countless conditions (say timers, sensors, other cars, etc..)

sometimes u hit a green light - pleasant feeling (chaitasika)
sometimes red light -> unpleasant feeling. dukka that you feel (chaitasika)

even when you get a series of green light or red sometmes, the system is still uncontrolled, no guarantee next moment, cant keep green always, cant even keep red even if wannted, so BY NATURE this kind of system is unsatisfactory/dukka (not the dukka feeling)
