Hard for the physical body but may not be emotionally draining as endlessly staring into a PC or being unemployed..

When we were kids, we learnt from the text book about the daily life of a farmer..

How good it is to set your own breaks or be in the nature..?

Going back to Barter trade could be a solution..

Do you think any of the technological advancements in the last 50 years, would survive another 200,000 years (age of the Homosapien)..?

And Farmers only work when its necessary; not like 9 to 5..

I understand, Farming is not an one size fits all solution but not everyone was short-sighted to run behind Computer related jobs either.. - just imagine when was the first modern Computer made..?

In Aus 1.6 million people work in Farms.. Ie 6% of the population, who provide 93% of the country's food supply..
