more than the GPS there are cell tour based information service that is servicing. So you probablly can use it. I think sometimes it's more accurate in the area of colombo than even the GPS.


however I have an Img file that contains the lanka map. But it contains low information than the
google maps. I suggest you to use the google maps. However you therefore needs to be onlined .

I don't know googlemaps how much accurate but I know that when you enter the coordinates
it will center you're map around it. There is also google map API , so you can develop you're
own application to use google maps. Best of luck mate.

Most of the times I relay on the google maps rather than img map files. So I take the HSPDA modem everytime I went somewhere.
