CIMA or Charted?? plz tell me which is the best?

Neither of them I wud say.. cos i dont like accounting.. but i was forced into the accounting field

Unless U have the interest dont do it.. its really hard..

Anyway to ur question.. CIMA I think wud cost a bit more.. n CIMA has a drop out rate.. so u'll have to work hard to stay on the top list these r some of the cons of CIMA.. just wait for some about Chartered cos im not very sure abt em..

btw there is an abundance of that qualification in SL..

i feel doing one of those courses with some pro. IT course.. actually i don wan to go to da top from accounting. just touch da management qualifications..

Machan if u r not interested in accounting don't ever do charted coz itz all abt financial accounting. CIMA is mor specialized in management accounting. so its fair mo better to go for CIMA. n IT degree wit CIMA s a good combination. but make sure to finish what u stat o ull lose ur money n time both

If you plan on becoming an accountant,doing Cima won't help much. Then u must do chartered. But if you plan on climbing up a company's management ladder cima is the ideal choice. That's because cima is more management oriented with less focus on book keeping while chartered is the opposite.I know this for a fact cos have many friends who have done these two courses.

BTW doing solely cima or chartered wont get you a good job. You have to do something related to IT or Law in parallel to get some edge over other candidates when hunting for jobs cos nearly 70% of engineering graduates do cima and when they come to interviews with an engineering degree with a class ,the cima only guy will be just an ordinary candidate!!

machoo if u interested in Accounting field CA is the best.. but make sure u have enough confident to finish it with working experience,, On the other hand If u interested in management side u'd better choose CIMA.. what i know is CA is more tougher Than CIMA,but once u successfully completed it will bring u a good demand in SL market. If u intend to go abroad i prefer u to do ACCA. if ur a genius in Accounting field.. 1st do the CA .. after that u can get exemption for CIMA,ACCA etc

Good class for CA is IAS pamankada (foundation and intermediate) and JMC (F1 and F2) goodluck bro!!
