Only one thing to point out, though. In the Tamil version, shown in Romanized form, there are some spelling mistakes in some of the words. ie: those words have a w in them. A letter n should be there in the place of w. But you can see the original Tamil text if you click on the word Tamil which is itself written in Tamil script. You will see a list with the names of different languages written in their native scripts. If you go to the bottom of the list, shown on left, you will see the name Tamil written in Tamil script. Click on there and scroll down and tou will see it in Tamil script.

Is that sung to the same melody as the sinhala one... :confused:

Yes it is. I have heard bits and pieces of the Tamil version and the melody is the same as the original Sinhala version, with some slight changes to the rhythm.

I hope that someday an audio or audio visual with the Tamil version of the Sri Lankan national anthem will be available on the Internet, esp on YouTube. Maybe someone here on ElaKiri who has an audio visual of the Tamil version can post it on YouTube. That would be nice.
