Plz! help me there is a big virus in my PC !!...

Hey guys im having a VIRUS in my pc its making my Internet Slow very slow
If you have experianced or know the case plz tell me how to take it out of the Pc... i get 1.4Kbps in torrent downlodings and to open EK it takes abt 45sec to completly open ...so plz plz help me and the KIS detects iy but its not deleted its called the SVCHOST.EXE i think

Yep, first fix the problem with kasperskey.

Normally svchost.exe is a Windows executable associated with windows services. But there could be virus also hiding with that same name.. Does kasperskey detects a virus ?

Once I had that virus but fortunately it got deleted. I never did use Kaspersky. I only use ESET NOD32 & Outpost Firewall Pro

The first option is re-install Kaspersky. Its better if you do because since if you have a slow internet connection I don't think you can download anything when the virus is held.

macho don't use cracked versions(u know ones which have all sorts of themes and applications) of XP bcoz they have backdoors! What I recommend is to install a clean Version of XP and theme it ur self!

below link shows what n how to stop unwanted svchost.exe files but it is not a virus for your information.. try stopping unwanted .exe files from CMD interface. if the virus is undeleteble try to fimd the path from an antivirus program and change the name of the file which will make it functionles. if tha name is changed the file will be there but will not have any bad effects on your computer, this is an alternate option..

Choosing the best virus guard so far is hard since ESET NOD32 & Kaspersky are having a competition. So choose either both which you prefer.

I agree with VSGM. It's better to install a fresh copy of Windows XP and update it.
