YES AT THIS POINT IT IS HARD LIFE IN SRI LANKA. BUT I THINK THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT, AS LONG AS THE POLITICCO DO THE RIGHT THING TO THE PEOPLE, and AS LONG AS POLITICCO JARAWA KANNAY NATUWA, RATA HADANAWA NAM.

IF YOU THINK SRI LANKA PAY HIGH TAX YOU ARE NOT TOTALLY RIGHT . IF YOU WORK ABRODE YOU HAVE TO PAY TAX TO THE GOVERNMENT ON YOUR ERNINGS, I WAS A STUDENT IN EUROPE, I EARNED MONEY FOR THE RATE OF HOURS I WORK. AND I HAD TO PAY TAX ON THE HOURLY RATE. THIS WAS IS UK. THIS IS COMMAN TO EVERY WORKER IN THOSE COUNTIES.
YOU EARN AND BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY TAX. WHAT EVERY YOUR EARNINGS ARE.... IN SRI LANKA YOU DONT HAVE THIS SYSTEM. ONLY THE HIGH INCOME BRAND PAY TAX on INCOME. EKATH APY UN HARIYATA GEWANNAY NA.

there are countries with much more strict tax related rules.... but ofcos there are some other countries with much better taxes and other rules. in sl, tax rates are ok in some areas, but really too much in some other aspects...

the police is a total crap. idiots have guns.. so intelligent people have too keep quite they kill people as they wish and they have granted that special power to kill anyone and walk out free. no justice.

we might have the crappiest and most probably the most incident parliament? could be.

and my opinion is, in some aspects, conditions in sl becomes similar to those highly undeveloped countries... which is really not suitable for the current economical state of our country.... sl is a developing country and the surroundings has to be matching and supporting the development. but according to my opinion i dont see anything like that here

preventing the migration might be an important act. but there are much more things to give higher priorities... intelligent ppl should get a live-able surrounding. the political field should support the industry and the development. in other words, we need a better plan. actually, a new working plan.
