Avast Internet Security Help Needed

I installed Avast Internet Security 5.0. but after installing it i could not access the internet. after uninstalling it only i could get access to the web. what is the reason behind this.. help me..

hmm what did u have before installing 5? u installed version 5 Free or Pro?

Before installing i had Version 4.8 running very fine...

but After i downloaded the latest Version...Registration was a Success..but Net Connection was not allowed or something like that...and the firewall couldnt be turned on either...
so i uninstalled it and switched to the old one...
