well i don't see any error as you say ..in your screen shot i cannot see anything like that but the names of the icons are highlighted...

well that happens due to these reasons..
1.If your wall paper is in .png format(so use only .jpg format)
2.Right click on desktop--->Arrange icons by--->then if the lock web items in desktop is ticked

those are the possible ways of having that error...

oh guyz my monitor is fine...i checked cncting to anoder pc...and tried anoder monitor!
and i um ma one is an LCD so no magneting issues..
and well i got thought the screen shot will work...bt its not when u guyz see it...
u dont belive if i say! i um runnin ma machine in 800x600 icons koss gedi wage
da prob is in the VGA i guess! bt it was workin fine reeli....
i think i should try that ATI tool thingy!
btw i um so glad n so happy that so much of ppl are here to help including some old faces

1.you talking about missing windows theme?
You are in classic theme that's why no colors in tool bars

2. When you are not in EK you can't complain saying Ek is not going in your way.

nah men..its reeli a weird prob i hav ever seen! i'l try to get a photo of this thing n post! coz i cant xplain it reeli!

if you have onboard VGA try connecting your monitor to it or try another VGA
