as i understand, land cruiser is always better than a prado. 2008 model (200 series) is in fact the latest iteration so basically, it's better than 2010(actually it's the 2009 model) prado anyway.
it doesn't matter whether one has got da ultra perfect vehicle in da world.......it simply rests on how da driver handles it........in my view a true driver can survive in toughest trails even in a crap car..........
simply buying things coz u got money does prove nothin..............
i think it's pretty obvious..
like for LC, the available engine options are 4L V6 to some 6L V8 (i think) and for prado it's 2.7L I4 to 4L V6..
so basically, a prado with the largest available engine is still more economical than the LC with the smallest available engine.

dunno 'bout ur driving skills..but there's an old saying among the experienced Aussie travelers that goes like “If you want to go into the Australian Outback, take a Land Rover,But if you want to come back, take a Land Cruiser.”
