Here is something I just don't understand.

Thilan Samaraweera has 348 first class test wickets.

His First-class record -
Matches- 219 Wickets-348 Best-6/55 Av-23.36 5W/Match -15 10/match - 2

Why is he not bowling?

I mean seriously, he joined the team as a bowler.

Even T.M. Dilshan has less than 60 first class wickets and he is bowling.
