I have a HP Pavilion DV8. It has an i7 processor... bought it for 136k. From ebay! U shud check out ebay if u wanna buy something... it'll be way cheaper in ebay... I checked the price of my laptop in SL and it 265ks or something... u might be able to get urs for maybe 80k... not sure, check and see.

BTW my laptop too gets slower sometimes... just found the cause! Its the heat... when the cpu heats up it gets reeaalllly slow..... maybe that's whats happening to those i3 or i5s... so use a cooling pad..i keep my laptop raised from the table so that air can move under the laptop... solves the problem.. no more slowed performances...
