Previous governments, including Ranil’s, have introduced many anti-corruption policies.
There is no point in arguing here. You should expect new laws to reduce corruption from this government. For example:
- All political contributions should be documented and presented to the public (not just during elections) on a yearly basis.
- The names and contributions from each individual and business to political parties or individuals should be in the public domain.
- Reduce the government sector significantly, as it is associated with corruption, inefficiency, and mismanagement. The government should get rid of running businesses.
