Progress looks slow but this is waaay better than what we had earlier.
"මූ එන්න කලින් කිව්වෙ ඒ ඔක්කොම ටැක්ස් ටික අඩු කරනවා කියලා, පස්සෙ මූ ඊටවඩා ඒ ටැක්ස් ගහන්න ගත්තා."
well IIT margin raised from 100k to 150k.
"මිනිසුන්ට රට ගොඩ යන එක වැඩක් නෑ, උන්ට ඕන එදා වේල කාගෙන දුවන්න" totally agree with this. This is the root cause for many problems in this country.
"2029 එහා පැත්තෙ හොඳ එකෙක් (මම කියන්නෙ හොඳ කියන්නෙ චරිතේ හොඳ එකෙක් නෙවී, ඒත් මූ වගේම හොඳට බොරු ගහලා මිනිස්සු එකතු කරන්න පුලුවන් එකෙක්) ආවොත් ලපයා ගෙදර" agree with this but no one seems to be in the horizon atm
"බඩු මිල දවස ගානෙ වැඩි වෙනවා, කවුරුත් ඒ ගැන කතා කරන්නෙ නෑ". agree but this is so common all around the world. Global economy is in kind of a recession and middle east war makes everything worse. The problem we have is we are so dependant on Oil and doesn't have the luxury of a financial buffer being bankrupt 4 years ago. I would like cheaper prices too. But its out of government's hand. what are your suggesions?. And keep in mind that the government can't do what ever they like due to IMF restrictions.
What Sri Lanka have is a power generation crisis. We should have gone to renewables and battery storage way earlier. If we can lower electricity cost from renewables then we can easily address other areas like transportation ( transition to EV) and Industries ( cheap electricity means low costs for manufacturing)
