Apply the law irrespective of personality. Even if there is evidence all needs to be proved in court of law not by Sherlock Homes and the gang. Till then all are presumed innocent. The issue here is granting of bail. Already second suspect the husband of ex CJ released on bail. So on what basis bail refused ? This is the issue.
They deliberately applied charges to the two suspects under two different acts. The ex CJ husband is the 1st suspect and Shiranthi is the 2nd suspect. She was charged under the Public Property Bill which is almost non-bail, but the Ex CJ under a more lenient charge, eventhough he's the no 1 suspect.
This again shows nakedness in investigations. If investigations are completed then only two suspects will be separately charged not before.
Public Property Act allows bail in special circumstances . Apply the law correctly no matter what others think. A magistrate granted bail to suspects in Easter BOMB case (suspects who worked under Ibrahim in factory where explosives made)and this was not a bailable offence by Magistrate but his order stood! Do not sway by public opinion
