    Technically no :no: because even if you don't have 2C+S you can get the membership. IESL has there own exam until 2020 and open uni has foundation etc. And also they accept London A/L So it's not a big deal even someone doesn't have the A/L. It's just stupid ප්‍රශ්නෙ වටේ යන්න එපා අර මොරටුවෙ...

    if government realy needs, its able to restrict the engineering practice without membership. Like they already do for doctors. My point is atleast there should be an alternative path for others to gain required qualifications. Asking someone to do AL when they already got a degree is bullshit...

    Thats the real issue here. According to so called act it says that without membership no one can do the engineering proffesion. They dont say anything about designations:baffled:
