බුදුහාමුදුරුවො බෝධියට කෙලෙහිගුන දක්වන්න බෝධිය දිහා අැසපිය නොහෙලා සතියක් බලන් හිටිය කියල තමයි අපි අහල තියෙන්නෙ.ඒත් එතන අැත්තටම සිද්දවුනේ ඒකද?
ඒකෙ අරමුන බෝධයට කෙලෙහිගුන දක්වනඑක කියල හිතන්න අමාරුයි.

Because it doesn't make any sense just to stare at a tree. Imagine you helped me for something and as a return I started staring at your for an entire day. Does that make any sense?

I believe that Lord Buddha had some sort of a power and injected it to the tree to make it last long. Perhaps I might be wrong.

perhaps it's because we try to make sense things in the perspective of the culture we were raised in. take sun and moon for example. afaik buddha has referred to them as gods. does that makes sense ? not in our modern culture because we equate everything with machines. but in then current cultural thought's perspective it's perfectly sensible to refer sun, moon, trees etc as gods.

perhaps in buddha's time trees might not have been mere properties owned by humans. people might have recognized trees as entities that posses their own rights.

තුන්කල් දක්නා නුවණ කියන්නෙ omniscience god වගේ හැම දේම දන්නව කියන එක නෙමේ. එහෙම ගත්තු තැනම paradox එකක්. බුදු හාමුදුරුවන්ට තමන් වහන්සෙ තව විනාඩි 5කිං කරන දේ පෙනුනද ? එහෙම පෙනුන නං ඒ වෙලාව ආවාම බුදු හාමුදුරුවන්ට වෙන දෙයක් කරන්න පුලුවන්ද ? පුලුවන්නං පෙනිල තියෙන්නෙ බොරුවක්. කරන්න බැරි නං බුදු හාමුදුරුවො කියන්නෙ කිසිම දෙයක් නිදහසේ කරන්න බැරි මැශිමක් වගේ. පෙනුන දේ ඒ විදිහටම කරනව.

ඕක ගැන සූත්‍ර දෙකකද කොහෙද තිබ්බ මං මතක් වුනොත් නම දාන්නං. හාමුදුරු නමක් බුදු හාමුදුරුවන්ට අපහාස කරන්නද කොහෙද හිතාගෙන කියනව බුදු හාමුදුරුවන්ට අනාගතේ පේන්නෙ නෑ, බුදු හාමුදුරුවො කරන්නෙ බුද්ධියෙන් අනාගතේ විය හැකි දේ විශ්ලේෂණය කරනව වගේ කරල කියන එක කියල. නැතුව වෙන දේ කලිං පෙනිල නෙමේ කියල. ඕක තව හාමුදුරු නමක් බුදු හාමුදුරුවන්ට කිව්වාම බුදු හාමුදුරුවො කියනව එ් හාමුදුරු නම තමන් වහන්සෙට අපහාස කරන්න හිතාගෙන කියල තියෙන්නෙ හොඳ දෙයක්, ඇත්ත දෙයක්මයි කියල.
