අවුරුදු දෙදහස් පන්සීයක් දැන්
වයසයි මට මගෙ දූ පුතුනේ....
ලේ කිරි දුන් උන් ලේත් උරා බී
ලේ කළඳක්වත් නෑ දෙතනේ.....

දරුවොත් වැදුවා.. දරුවොත් හැදුවා..
උන් වැඩි හරියක් සොර දෙටුවන්
දරුවන් වුව උන් පරයන් මැරයන්
මගෙ දේ කා මට වින කැටුවෝ...

උනුන් කොටවලා උගුල් අටවලා..
රජවෙති මගෙ උන් හැමදාමත්
මගෙ රජ දරුවන් මගෙ ජන දරුවන්
ගැන බැලුවේ නෑ කවදාවත්

තමන් හැදෙනු මිස නන්ගිලා මල්ලිලා
හදන්න ඕනෑ කමක් නැතී.
ගේ දොර කණ කර උගසට තියලා
වළඳත් විකුනාගෙන බුදිතී.......

උතුරේ දරුවන් මියැදී ඉවරයි..

Sri Lanka dropped 12 places in its corruption perception ranking, compiled by Transparency International. In the Corruption Perception Index for 2013, Sri Lanka was ranked 91 out of 177, compared to the ranking of 79 last year.......................

Sri Lanka had been ranked 165th in the list of 180 countries in the World Press Freedom Index 2014, Reporters without Borders said in its annual report.

According to a leading survey, Sri Lanka further declined in press freedom last year to place it among the 20 worst countries in the world for media expression.
