Congratulations Dr. Dhammaika Elkaduwe

Dr.Dhammika Elkaduwe a Senior Lecturer at Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya has been awarded the Prestigious ACM Software System Award for the year 2022. He is the 1st Sri Lankan and second Asian to receive this award.

Past winners of ACM Software Award include Dennis Ritchie, Ken Thompson (UNIX), Tim Bernes Lee (World Wide Web) Vint Cerf (TCP/IP), Donald Knuth (TeX), Richard Stallman (GCC), Paul Mockapetris (DNS) and James Gosling (Java).
