I don't think if it's regulated by law this opens up the manufacturer to fines by the regulators (in EU where the law is enforced)
but I guess anything goes in ashikland
apple is already pairing components to the motherboard to make it difficult for people to replace components(battery health doesn't work once the battery is replaced in an iphone if I'm not mistaken)

great. this is how it should be
a dead battery shouldn't mean you need to get rid of your electronic device
the EU directive for replacement batteries was a great step forward for consumer electronics

yes machan they have the same mechanism in place
it's not outright rejecting the battery. instead it's giving out a warning that the battery is not genuine

මම replace කරේ 2014-15 වගේ කාලෙ බන්. එතකොට battery හොයාගන්න්වත් නැ. අනික jbl එකේ තියන්නෙ

Lipo battery එකක්. ඒක ටිකක් බහිනවා ඉක්මනට. විස්වාස කරහං මම තවත් හොඳට පාවිච්චි කරන්නෙ ​

මම replace කරපු Li-ion battery බං.​

Li-ion වල original හොයාගන්න අමාරු හින්දා තමයි මම anker power bank එකකට ශොට් එක දුන්නේ.​
