උත්තරීතර - දෝෂාභියෝගයේ ඇතුලාන්තය
2013 ජනවාරි මස 13 දින, ශ්රි ලංකාවේ 43 වන අගවිනිසුරුවරියවූ ආචාර්ය ෂිරාණි ඒ. බණ්ඩාරනායක, මතභේදකාරි දෝෂාභියෝග ක්රියාවලියක් මගින් ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ විසින් එකී තනතුරෙන් නෙරපා හරිනු ලැබීය. දෝෂාභියෝග සමාප්තියට පූර්වයෙන් ගතවූ දෙමසක කාල වකවානුව, කළහකාරීවූවා පමණක් නොව, එයින් මතු කළ සිද්ධිදාමයන්, රජය මෙන්ම මාධ්ය මගින් මෙහෙයවනු ලැබිණි.

On the 13th January 2013, Dr. Shirani Bandaranayake, the 43rd Chief Justice of Sri Lanka was removed from her office by President Mahinda Rajapaksa, following a controversial impeachment process in Parliament. While the preceding 2 months were tumultuous in itself, the narrative of what transpired was largely dictated by the media and the Government.
Hold Me In Contempt is a memoir which visits those events through the eyes of the now retired Chief Justice. In her own words, 6 years on, Hold Me In Contempt explores the life of the first woman Chief Justice of Sri Lanka as she faces off against an autocratic President with unfettered power.
