I've tried the Wannaku method for about three years, yet I'm unable to lose some weight. The main reason is I can't change the lifestyle I've gotten used to. I prefer this comfortable style rather than worrying about the weight.
A few years ago, I lost 20 KG of weight within 3 months. I knew it wasn't heathy and unsustainable but I went for it.
After losing 20kg within that short amount of time, I became the gym diva, even my coach posted my transformation in his socials

he had recommend me to new fat guys that are new to the gym and they asked me what was the secret.
It's not rocket science dude ... I just
1 meal a day : breakfast - rice and curry with 3 eggs.
Then hit the gym regularly, 2 days lift weights with 30 minutes of cardio ( treadmill ) ; one day off ; repeat.
Rest of the day, no snacks or anything. Just water.
That's it, monthly I lost about 6 - 10 KG.
Then after that transformation, I had to quite the gym due to personal reasons and it took 1 year to regain that lost 20 KG.
P.S. btw I didn't satisfy with the aftermath of my transformation due to the aggressive cut, I was skinny fat without any visible muscle mass.
I wouldn't recommend such an aggressive cut
