Many ppl in this thread has thot that it would be beneficial if the meter reader comes on exactly the 30th date.. but it is not so.. if your average consumption is the same (i.e 90 units in 30 dayz and 93 units in 31 dayz) then u will benefit if the meter reader comes late.. This is because of the fixed charge and it doesn't change with the length of the period..

And pay attention to ur tariff method as well.. We all think that domestic is the cheapest tariff. But GP 1 is cheaper if u r consuming more than 260 Units... I hv replied to three posts here before and no one z paying attention...
