TAEKWONDO
Some time in early 1990s I went to buy a carton of milk from my local shopping centre (in Melbourne). When I come out of the shop, 2 people approached me and ask "are you from S/L?? When I said "yes", they talk in Sinhala. One man introduce the other guy, saying "ME CYRIL ANTHONY". I shook his hand and said my name. It did not click in to my mind who Cyril Anthony is . Then he said he is organising some classes in a nearby place and gave me a leaflet. When I get home and look at that paper and realise he was the popular taekwondo instructor in S/L . I think he was little embarrassed, because I haven't recognize his name as a popular Sri Lankan.
