It's a false rumour that there are no tiles in the Srilankan market. It is a bit expensive like everything nowadays but if you have money you can buy it. Yes, wood and titanium floors are all good options though I think tiles are always way better compatible with the Sri Lankan climate. Also, tiles are easy to clean and replace.
