Additionally, study the past price fluctuations, NAV/PE etc of the company and the industry competitors, share liquidity, company's competitive advantage, any news related to the industry etc.

Technical Analysis - I wont recommend purchasing shares only based on this. For me (my personal opinion) this is like gambling. Can go either way. What I recommend is start with fundamental analysis.Go for a technical analysis only if the share is fundamentally ok.

And machg.. this is a good times to buy shares.. many stocks are undervalued and prices of some stocks have gone down due to current unfavorable economic condition.. With a new president in power , I am sure share market will recover..
