Kadhafi captured: Libya TV, NTC commander
Moamer Kadhafi was captured as his hometown of Sirte was falling on Thursday, a National Transitional Council commander said, adding that the ousted Libyan strongman was badly wounded.
"He has been captured. He is badly wounded, but he is still breathing," Mohamed Leith told AFP, adding that he had seen Kadhafi himself and that he was wearing a kaki uniform and a turban.
Libyan TV channel "Libya lil Ahrar" also said that he was in custody.
In Sirte, medics said the defence minister in Kadhafi's ousted regime, Abu Bakr Yunis, had been killed in the final battle for the strongman's hometown.
His body was identified at the field hospital where it was brought in a pick-up truck on Thursday, Dr Abdu Rauf told AFP.

Commanders for Libya's transitional authorities say they have captured ousted leader Col Muammar Gaddafi.
The reports came after transitional forces claimed control of Sirte, Col Gaddafi's birthplace, following weeks of fierce fighting.
Col Gaddafi is said to be wounded. There is no independent confirmation of the reports.
The colonel was toppled in August after 42 years in power. The International Criminal Court is seeking his arrest.
"He's captured. He's wounded in both legs," National Transitional Council (NTC) official Abdel Majid told Reuters news agency.
"He's been taken away by ambulance."
AFP news agency quoted another NTC official, Mohamed Leith, as saying that Col Gaddafi had been captured in Sirte and was "seriously wounded" but still breathing.
The BBC's Caroline Hawley in Tripoli says although the reports of the capture are unconfirmed, ships and cars have been sounding their horns in the capital and guns are being fired in celebration
