Google today announced through its blog that the company will soon shut down the failed social network for consumers. (8th Oct)

“As part of its response to the incident, the Alphabet Inc. unit plans to announce a sweeping set of data privacy measures that include permanently shutting down all consumer functionality of Google+, the people said. The move effectively puts the final nail in the coffin of a product that was launched in 2011 to challenge Facebook Inc. and is widely seen as one of Google’s biggest failures.”

ගුගල් බැලුන් තාමත් ලතින් ඇමෙරිකන් කන්ට්‍රිවල තියනවා. එක ලොස්ට් ප්‍රොජෙක්ට් එකක් උනේ ලංකාවේ.. එඩිසන්ට ෆිලමන්ට් එක හදාගන්න කොච්චර කල් ගියාද? එත් ඒ ෆේල් වෙච්ච හැම ෆිලමන්ට් එකක්ම නිසා තමයි අන්තිමට එකක් හරි ගියේ.

then why google has become worlds number 1 search engine ? google is a company that can change the world. take a look at google search , google maps , gmail , google photos and google translate. the entire world is benifiting from it

Good that google + is closing down. we dont want to make our google account a social media account.
