Gota was a key factor in winning the war. no argument there. but he doesn't have the MR's diplomatic skills. he has total disregard to rule of law(thangalla murder, mervin, dumnda). it is he general belief that he was strict against criminals. but the truth is he strict against the criminals who are not his friends.
As evident by katunayaka & rahupaswala cases he doesn't respect unarmed common man's right to live.
he has repeatedly shown that he is intolerant to others views which shouldnt be quality of democratic leader. there should always be a higher authority than him. if he gets absolute power it is high probability that it will end in a absolute disaster.

When compared with the morons of present government, this guy at least knows how to face a press
