Expenses over income will push any country into poverty. I don’t know why SL government issues vast amounts of money for subsidies, instead they should show a way to people in need, how to make a living.
Subsidies for disabled and old people are acceptable, but young people protesting for subsidies is not acceptable.
A governmentprimary responsibility is to develop infrastructure, irrigation systems, education sector, health sector, increase GDP, protect environment and implement laws against corruption.
I think every citizen should have access to basic human needs including food, water, shelter and education.
In my opinion, we should take Japan as an example and follow their system and 100% copy their policies and regulations.
But I don’t think our people want to make a sacrifice for the country, we are looking for quick money and solutions. Every sector is corrupted, no turning back
