You can never put a end because creation is still on and happenIn that case it is a cycle too.But you have the chance to put and end to your cycle.

hmm mchn a kalpa is around 4.32 billion years.So on this kalpa only 5 pratkeya buddhas will be born.They will come only when the knowledge on dharma completly vanish from the face of earth.In that case 50000 years is too little of a gap.If i'm correct I read that human average life expetancy should reverse back to only 10 years or so till we see a buddha arise again.

Machan, does that comply with the theory of evolution? the Earth itself is only like some 4 billion years old, and human were there only for less than 500k years on earth according to my knowledge... if the kalpa is 4.3 B years, that means from the beginning of the earth there have been buddhas? and do you think India, and himala was there as it is now? 4B years ago?

Mchn I'm only commenting from what I have read, I have not intellectuly realized all these.But in buddhist cosmolgy they are talking about partial distruction of world after end of an kalpa which is 4.32 billion years to be exact.So in that context this earth has been distroyed all over for million times like this.So if we take this 4.32 billion years only only 5 buddhas were born.So the age of dinosours is too little of a time to be compared with 4.32 billion years,so it's possible 5 buddhas to born when humans are there.I guess we now have some fossile records which proves humans existance back to million years.

But they also talking about an end of maha kalpa which all the universe wil l distroy and recreate again.In such a time earth would turn into dust or emptyness.We have trillion years till a maha kalpa.But we only have 2200 or something billion years till a partial distruction happen.That means we again will go back to a dinasour age.

I think what he's saying is, what may be the case is, human form is not the only form in which you can be receiving this knowledge..the laws therein can be applicable to many forms of intelligent beings in many planes of existence...this transcends time or space as we know them
