I think best way to learn English is by using it; reading, writing and specially speaking....
Playing games, watching movies, reading and sitcoms...
Sitcoms have so many phrases and jokes that you can learn. Ex- Friends, How I met your mother.

Anyway, I don't think we have to speak like westerner, we have our own way of speaking. Indians, Chinese people have their own way of speaking English with their own accent. So why can't we?

Yeah, it's really good if you can do it. But I think it will take more & more time. But with practice it's not impossible.

The thing is most of Sri Lankans try to fake an accent where they can't do. It's really sad to see, and not nice. It's better to speak without a fake English accent rather than faking it.

We have to do it man. Its not coming naturally. Because our language is a soft one & English is not.

When you are listening to English conversations or words without by hard it will become a daily routine & your brain will catch up them without knowing and easily
