කට්ට තියෙන්න ප්රධාන හේතුව තමා වාහනය වැසි දිනයක පාරේ යද්දී පාරත් ටයර් එකත් අතර තියන වතුර ටයර් එකේ කට්ට ඇතුලට යන්න. එහෙම උනේ නැත්තන් ටයර් එකත් පාරත් අතර තියන වතුර තට්ටුව නිසා පාරට හොඳට බදලා අල්ලන්නේ නැති නිසා වාහනේ ලිස්සලා යනවා.

I also hope that people who drive very fast on wet roads (even on the highways) realize what happens when the water between the tyre and the road does not have enough time to get displaced, even when the tyre tread is good.
Have seen a documentary video on this long time back. I can't remember the facts. I suppose the tyre tread, vehicle weight and speed and the road surface and amount of water on the road all matters. No doubt that the tyre tread is important. But some people get the idea that since their tyre tread is good, it is safe to drive very fast on wet roads.
If a car expert can explain the physics, it would be useful for a lot of people.
