IMO :when natural disaster strikes " some "people tends toward "Act of god" because it's easier to explain than telling how tectonic plates shifts lol I'm NOT trying to justify this animal slaughter here.. it's terrifying to see what people might do in the name of "religion"

11 million people were killed during the holocaust.. where do you draw the line, mother nature? .. I could be wrong but I don't think there is any link between natural disasters and human involving slaughtering,genocide etc...
I also think the writers may have over exaggerate about the death of Rahathun Wahanse Namak(profound spiritual faith). We couldn't actually read/find out what the Lord Buddha actually taught us bcause in time to time these books and scribes altered by writteres for their own personal well being.. As and example today, lots of people trying to justify eating meat but for a one second if you really think about it, I don't think The Lord Buddha would've consume meat..

Actually, I have no enough English knowledge to explain in English the whole system and the structure of the answer that you've asked about.. so sorry about that.

But overall, I have to say one thing. First of all, "You have to be a Buddhist" and then, only then, you can find the answers for those questions. Because, there are many universal theories that you haven't learned. Specially "Karma" , "Chethanaawa(I don't know the exact English word for the whole meaning)"... etc.

You don't trust "Tripitakaya" isn't it? Because you've have mentioned "time to time these books and scribes altered by writteres for their own personal well being.." and the example given. That could be the Bible or Quran! But not "Tripitakaya". So if you're thinking like that, then I can't help you with it. Because, as Buddhists, we must have a strong belief in "Tripitaka". It's not literature. It's not written according to personal opinions. See ? Sounds like, you don't know about the history either!

And, The Lord Buddha has consumed meet.

There are so many things have to be considered for your opinion but I couldn't do it right now. Specially in English!
