Only some theories will be proved wrong by Forensics. eg Ballestic Experts locally (then govt analyst Mr. Mendis an honest and fearless person(very rare now ) as well as foreign experts have concluded that Gen Kobbekauwa's blast was a landmine not a bomb fixed to vehicle. So it is up to each person to believe or disbelieve conspiracy theories even after they were proven wrong by Science.
