Majority කියුවේ එකයි. Based on my experience

Most sinhala people don't know how alcohol is metabolized.
Alcohol metabolized into acetaldehide first which is a group A carcinogen.
Acetaldehide can cause genetic mutations forming DNA adducts and intra- and interstrand cross-links in DNA and inhibit key DNA repair enzymes.
There's no safe amount when it comes to carcinogens
