But I've heard if the country is smaller and denser the population, the best-suited power is nuclear technology. Bangladesh has one. Singapore is planning to add one in 2050. why couldn't we? I am not implying that we should agree with the Russians. but we should consider this technology.

Ara 300k maruna wele hina wuna set ekak mehe inne...So don't trust them.nuclear tech is great. no question. but these are not brand new & based on what's said in the video, these powerplants could be from russian ships, submarines that used nuclear power which aren't used in that application anymore. their getting a second use from those retiring nuclear power plants. In that case these plants may be using really old tech, standards and don't know how safe relative to modern nuclear tech.I am no expert on Nuclear power plants. if this get implemented with proper standards, modern nuclear tech and as a fully private or PPP, I've no complaints.
we definitely need more power generation because of the port city project. But I think we should consider LNG, green hydrogen, renewable methods instead pf nuclear plants.

The problem is when we can't maintain a coal plant without breakdowns for 2-3 years, how on earth anatha sinhalu will be able to maintain a much more complex nuclear plant?I am no expert on Nuclear power plants.
